Seasoned Chicken Breast Medallions Wrapped in Bacon

Ingredients:

SEASONED CHICKEN BREAST (CHICKEN BREAST, WATER, VINEGAR, SALT, SPICES AND FLAVORING, SEASONING [DRIED GLUCOSE SYRUP, HOPS EXTRACT, RAPESEED OIL, FLAVOR], SODIUM PHOSPHATES), BACON (PORK, WATER, SALT, SODIUM PHOSPHATE, SODIUM ERYTHORBATE, SODIUM NITRITE), TOPICAL SPICES AND FLAVORING (SPICES AND FLAVORING, DEHYDRATED RED BELL PEPPER, CANOLA OIL).

Cooking Instructions

Cook thoroughly to a minimum internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Remove product from packaging.

If frozen, thaw product prior to cooking. To thaw, place product in refrigerator for 24 hours, or in cold water for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

GRILL

  • Place on grill for 20 to 25 minutes on low, turning 2 to 3 times.

  • Remove from grill and allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

OVEN

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).

  • Preheat frying pan on medium-high.

  • Add 1/2 tbsp (7.5 mL) of vegetable oil to hot frying pan.

  • Remove product from packaging and place into the pan and sear each side for about 2 minutes.

  • Place seared product on foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

  • Remove from oven and allow to rest for 5 minutes  before serving.
